The Canadian Canon Law Society is a non-profit corporation whose objectives are to cooperate with the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops and with other ecclesiastical and religious organizations to:

1. favour professional and social exchange among Canadian canonists;
2. foster dialogue between Canon Law and other ecclesiastical and secular disciplines;
3. promote and assist research in canonical matters;
4. act as an information center on canonical matters; and
5. maintain friendly exchange with Canon Law Societies in other countries.
